I was watching some YouTube content documenting the user experience...which was hilarious. Anyhow, it appeared that some type of rollercoaster app was being used. The only thing is, there doesn't appear to be one in the Oculus or Samsung VR store. Does anyone know of one or a great app to use when showing people the VR experience?

TIA

Yes, I use one of the Google cardboard apps called Cedar Point VR. Everyone loved it yesterday, had out of town family trying it out they couldn't believe it. Loved the VR and my note 5!

Heh. Funny you should mention the Cedar Point app. I pulled out my View Master VR and passed it around the dinner table on Christmas. My brother-in-law had a hilarious reaction and decided to get one on his way home, lol.

I just wish 1) there were a strap for it (other than making my own, which I intend to do) and 2) that I didn't have to remove my case to use it. I just got a very nice Spigen case and don't want to ruin it by constantly pulling it off and putting it back on.

I may end up getting a different Cardboard to use that doesn't require the case removal, but I might not. My wife has a Gear VR on the way, courtesy of the Samsung promos; that does have a strap and is much better quality.

Never mind,, guess you just have to run it before you pop it in.

How do you get this app to run once you plug it in? I tried running it before popping it in the vr and it opens up the oculus app

If you want to run Google cardboard apps on the Samsung gear vr you have to go to the playstore and download an app it's about $2 it's called app disabler pro you then go into the app and disable the Samsung vr oculus app this way you start the Cedar Rapids Rollercoaster app or any app from Google cardboard without oculus coming on,its very cool also YouTube it they have a few videos explaining everything hope this helps.
