Rolling Back to Lollipop From Marshmallow

Is this possible? Marshmallow has 'killed' several of my most important apps that worked perfectly in Lollipop.
Battery also seems to have halved!!!
Any help for this Android newbie MUCH appeciated.

Welcome to the forums. When did you get MM? Have you tried a cache clear in recovery?

Thanks for the welcome. I think the update was only about a week ago. I was surprised as I'm away from home on a baaaaaad wifi connection only. Yes, wiped cache in recovery mode. Also ran a factory reset, as I mistakenly thought it would take me back to v5

Hmm...the reset should have cleared your issues. Rolling back might, emphasis on might be possible, but Samsung usually prevents rolling back. It's part of the bootloader as I recall.

Based on my own Marshmallow experience...no way I would revert back to Lollipop - that was a terrible OS for the Verizon S5
