[ROM][5.07.2011][ED01]Community Rom V1.3

No, wiping data will not change your modem, rom, or kernel. It only pertains to personal data and installed apps.

Alright, that's what I thought, but it definitely doesn't hurt to make sure lol. Thanks Killa! Going to flash now as I just got home from work not long ago and wanted to read through the entire thread first lol.

Ok so it booted up, then froze and rebooted... then I got the FC vibrates and it's rebooting again... I read something about this earlier can't quite find it right now, but is this normal?

Edit: The FC was "The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please Try again"

Adrynalyne mentioned in the OP that you may get an acore crash on boot and it should only happen once so its normal.

Yeah, it happened again when I rebooted from flashing the backup assistant patch, will see if it happens again when I do more. Otherwise it's up and running smoothly so far. Got a lot to do with setting it up the way I want now and to flash the theme I want :)

EC01 Radio

Also FearTheGhost13 im stuck on the android splash screen with the FCing any ideas? I wiped d-cache and partition coming from stock ED01.

Did you enable lagfix before rebooting? I also wiped data/factory reset (that was the first thing I did before flashing the rom) Not sure what would be causing the FCing from that screen besides possibly not enabling lagfix.

Ok I'm getting the FC of the process android.process.acore everytime I reboot the phone and when I try to click the dialer button... EVERY TIME! So something's not right I guess, I made sure I had the full download of the rom, I flashed it properly I just keep getting this FC. Haven't had any other type of FC tho.

Edit: Well I guess back to the beginning, going to wipe data, cache partitions and delvik cache again and re-flash the rom. May double wipe them this time to go the extra mile lol. Thinking I may redownload the rom again too.. Although mine is the exact right size, but this FC of the acore was mentioned to only suppose to happen once if at all... Before I do this is there any suggestions from someone wiser on the subject than I?

I already had the voodoo conversion with the ladys voice coming from the stock kernel

Hmmm have you tried fixing permissions in CWM?

No, didn't try it, but I just did now that you said it... worth a shot. I also cleared the **** out of cache's and wiped data/factory reset again and reflashed the rom, I'll see how it goes this time around.

a long night well worth it

i'm finally up and running, currently waiting for Titanium Backup Pro to finish restore all my apps and settings. ive only had my phone for less than two weeks and this is my third rom. i initially rooted and installed SC2.9 which was fairly painless. same for SC2.9.2. this one proved more difficult but with the help of the hundreds of questions and answers across four or five threads i am up and running. i was using EB01 so most of my problems came from downgrading then upgrading to ED01. so if you are skeptical about your abilities i would definitely suggest sticking with a simple Odin install of EC01 before flashing the community rom. also, be comfortable using CRM. i freaked out when blue popped up and i was expecting red so i had to flash 2.5.xxxwhatever using Odin. i can't wait to play with my new rom.... tomorrow. good night and thank you to the developers and the forum users for all the input.

Alright, didn't get the FC this time around, going to re-flash the backup assistant patch. Guess I'll see if maybe that's causing it this time around. I was able to click the dialer button without FC before flashing the patch, will see how it reacts after. Gotta love troubleshooting lol.

Yeah, might be a good idea. I'm not real sure what's causing the FC for you. :( I think my problem was just a bad flash, everything seems fine now and I'm no longer getting a single FC as of right now. Hope you get it sorted out, I have faith in you! :)

thanks brah looks like its gonna be a long night for me -______-

Just took the KangBang plunge! Crossing my fingers & hoping it works out smoothly. Currently in the middle of reboot... Was wondering, do you guys delete the old .zip rom files on your sd? I'm guessing I should delete the old 130mb 2.9.2 since I won't be needing it anymore...
