I'm on round 2 with 1.3 Having issues with Miui lock screen. When I unlock with the message icon I get a froce close every time. The phone and lock icons work fine. Any suggestions? I read all the way back to page 136 in this thread and couldn't find an answer, not saying I did't glance over it though

The message icon in the Miui lock screen does not actually go to messaging. It goes to a custom app. If you do not have a custom app assigned, you will get a force close. You can assign it to go to messaging if you would like. You assign the custom app by going to settings>tsm parts>lockscreen settings> custom app.

The miui locks up if I try to point it to an app like handcent.

I don't know if really anything could be done for this but I have TIKL installed and everytime I get tikled while I have my text messages open it freezes the whole phone up. Just figured I'd throw it out there.

I just got a quick questions. I went to comm rom 1.3, but there is a FC with acorn failure when I press the call button. I am going retry download and reinstall; but can someone help me what else I should do.

Ok, so here is a random issue I sometimes have. The phone will give three vibrates, like a force close, but no force close message appears. Then it will vibrate four times and reboot. Next the reboot restart hangs at the sd scan, and then reboots again. After that it is usually fine. I will then go into cwm and clear partition, davalik, and fix partitions after this happens and it will work fine for a few days. Any ideas? I am running go launcher, beautiful widgets, business calendar widget, and google tasks widget on the phone.

I started seeing this when I switched to go launcher, I switched back to launcher pro and the problem seems to have gone away. I also use the beautiful widget superclock 4x2 on my home screen.

The acore FC is a known problem and is mentioned in the OP. Make sure you do a data wipe when you flash the ROM. If that doesn't clear up the FC, go into CWM and fix permissions.

I know that acore was was a known problem wasn't sure if it is with pressing phone call. Should I reistall or should I first try data wipe again. How do you fix permission. I did Wipe cache and davlik three times, also data wipe before rebooting. Thanks again

fix permissions is under the advanced menu in CWM. Before you do that though when you are in CWM, go to mounts and storage and make sure it says unmount in front of data and dbdata, If it says mount, scroll to them and hit the power button. Then go to the advanced menu, scroll to fix permissions, and hit the power button. Try fixing permissions first before doing a data wipe. If fixing permissions doesn't fix the FC, then try wiping data.

Just wanted to say thanks to all the devs that put this together, thanks to Lttlwing16 after reading your posts of other people having issues I knew what to do before I had the same problems. A huge thanks to Sheepdog Elite for all of his organizing of information as well as Landshark for all the hard work you do. I'm not a huge poster but I read all I can and this forum has been invaluable for everything Android for me.

This was my first Voodoo endeavor, after reading all the howtos at least three times to make sure I knew WTF I was doing. I figured it was time to make the jump to a voodoo setup, felt like I was cutting an umbilical cord. I still feel I have a lot to reading to do before I continue any serious modifications but this Rom has been the best I've ever used, it has worked flawlessly. Soon as I find the proper drop box I plan on sending some donations, it is the only right thing to do after all the hard work you folks put into this.

Thanks for all your help. It is working now. I am going read up on voltage setting, and try out the gps. I got a one more questions. If I want to camvolt instead of what is provided with this rom, what do you do? Thanks again for all your hard work and input.

Download the ComaVolt kernel, place it on your sd card, boot to recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache and flash comavolt kernel in cwm, then reboot phone. And you're welcome. There's always someone around here to help you when you need it.

Cool, and anytime. I just regurgitate what I've seen the great geniuses, advisors and guru's like Droid X Con, Landshark, gunnermike, sheepdog elite, and jaekar tell peopes. Credit goes to them. I just like to problem solve and help people..... It sounds like you had a clean install though. It's probably a bug with launcher pro +. I would clear the lp+ data and cache in settings ---applications and see if that helps.

Check out an app called COLORS from the market. That's the way to get the super black wallpaper that come stock with kb. It will help you with battery life here down the road.. I like it.

Battery report:
If you remember yesterday I was down to 80% in 1.5h off charger, down to 40% by 10h.

Wiped batstats last night in the terminal emulator and installed Colors with the crazy black screen.

Today I was only down to about 60-65% by 10h and ~50% by 12h in a less signal friendly place than I was yesterday. Not sure if it was the bstats wipe or black screen (I had a mostly black one before) bit I'd say that's a win!

Settings - TSM Parts - Status Bar Settings - Text Color.
Pick a new color for the text and then press the button in the middle. You may need to reboot for it to take affect. The stock default text color is the same as the status bar color so it just blends in.
