ROM ALERT: Epic Experience Eclair v1.2.09

I don't know why there isn't more noise about this ROM. It's friggin amazing! I think on XDA there's like a 200+ page thread. But here, Baked Snack gets more noise, even though (no offense) it's quite ugly.

I do wish there were ways to remove apps like write Write & Go, Daily Briefing, Mini Diary.

If those are installed in /system/app then you should be able to use SDX Stock App Remover to delete them.

the hype behind a rom has nothing to do with aesthetic appease. tis about functionality.
if there was a thread for bakedsnack on xda i bet it will be as long as that. the reason why so many people like that rom is because that guy just sits on his computer and continuously spits updates.

not to mention hero_over puts way more work into his roms than schizopunk.
hero built his own kernel and put it up to speeds nobody else has yet all by himself. no teams involved

because epic experience has a couple cool add ons.
it has a different music player - it enables a pull down over the lockscreen of the cd image to fast forward/pause etc.

it has the reboot selection when you long press the power button.

it has touchwiz 3.0 which allows for customizable grid and dock.

and it runs nice, i just like hero_overs kernel more.

i only like epic experience and baked snack. ive tried other ones just to test it out but i for the most part i like to stick to these two

Sounds awesome. I am going to wait and see what the new Baked Snack comes up with before I flash any other ROMs.

hopefully it'll be soon. however nobody has more updates than epic experience.
but bakedsnack has his own kernel which takes a lot more work.

but schizopunk does do a lot of work on his roms too

question.. i don't like the puzzle lock screen... tried to flash one of the stock lock screens but the puzzle is still there. do i have to delete it somehow?

These were taken from the same source as in the first post. You should be able to flash either using Clockwork.

so just boot to cw recovery and run the zip off the sd card? thats what i did with the tw lock screen but like i said i still see the puzzle piece

No, you did it the right way. I haven't tried that lock screen yet, but since it is from TouchWiz I wonder if there is an option in settings to change it? It's a long shot but worth checking. If not, just try flashing the normal lock screen again.

nice im using the baked snack rom. might try using this rom.

can you post your quadrant score?
i got 1225 if i recall correctly.

seems the best is with the whole syndicate package.

Any way to run epic experience with Voodoo color? (is voodoo color available on it's own now... the hype seems to have died down with that.)
