Has anyone made a comparison chart between the ROM versions for Nook?
For instance, it's important to me that the ROM is capable of smooth video playback.
I know froyo v 6.7 can do that, don't know about Gingerbread and Honeycomb.

Other things of interest.

1: Resolution support.
2: Hardware support
2: Speed
3: Battery life
4: Compatibility

Regards,

Mike

i was actually thinking of doing this for most/all devices out there. Still thinking of a good way to keep everything up to date(will need the support of developers of course), but a website with this info may be in my summer plans. You will definitely hear about it if i find enough time to get it goin.

CyanogenMod 7.0.2-encore (Gingerbread) on the device vs SD card gets my vote! I've tried different versions on SD, rooted B&N 1.1 and 1.2 and finally went with just installing to device. It streams video great, very user friendly and stable.

CM7.0.3 on sd with vital player neon plays xvids smoothly. I was surprised at how good it looks. It does still have a battery leak/deep sleep problem though.
