I know what it is, give me a few minutes to upload a new file. How I mixed up a downloadprovider.apk is beyond me. Is that the only FC you have? Remember it is NOT necessary to do a data wipe because it is going to be backed up and restored automatically.

**If you use root explorer move the attachment in this post to /system/app, if not the updated rom's will post in about 25mins.**

I'm getting the FCs when trying to set ringer and DL apps ( as mentioned the status bar looks like it's DL , but nada ) .... that's as far as I've gone so far. You have this same exact ROM running on your Epic with NO problems ? Have you heard back from anyone else who DL this ?

Did you try pushing the attached file yet? You could also restore your back up then reflash the rom without any wipes.

OK = FINALLY got it running right ... only encountered 2 glitches so far ... 1) Gingerbread KB kept doing FC so I had to uninstall it , 2) I got one Sleep of Death at work this afternoon ( but that is usually a kernel issue , not a ROM issue ) .... other than that , it's doing good = Nice Job !

Did you try clear the app data for the keyboard?

Yes I did , but it didn't give me the option to do that

I've installed all of the different versions including the alt versions, and I am still getting FC's in the market. It will not allow me to download any applications. I have odined back to stock EC05, and also from SFR1.2 on EXT4, and all end with the same results. It will also not connect as a mass storage device to the computer. I really like the ROM, and the transition effects are very fluid. I've installed this ROM 8 times now.

Have you cleared data from the market via settings? If that doesnt work try uninstalling updates. If that doesnt work you could always install the latest market apk which I am sure is floating around here or xda. The not recognizing mass storage, try toggling the usb debugging button. If not it might be your cord.

I did all of that, and now it works. I am now having issues sending, and receiving Text messages. I have to resend messages 3 or 4 times before they go. I updated the PRL, Profile, and Firmware, and still the same issue. Has anyone else had this issue.

I live in a terrible reception area so I always have trouble sending messages. It seems like you have gone through all the necessary trouble shooting steps aside from maybe a simple restart of the phone or toggling airplane mode to kick start your signal. It might just be a sprint issue, their text service has really been crappy these past couple months.

Sorry I couldn't get this one working for you Texas. I am still working on it for you I want to switch themes because I feel like that might be causing issues for you. I am in the process of setting up a virtual Linux system and figuring out how to theme so I am not borrowing everyone's stuff. It is just slow learning because I have ZERO experience.

I took it personal that it was not working, and I was having the same issues as you. Here is what I did. I installed SRF 1.2, and then without wiping the cache or wiping anything installed the v.5 Alt on top. Presto, no more issues. No texting issue, No FC. I constantly have 180+ mb or RAM free, and I love the rotating transitions. Hope this helps.

Looks like your ROM is working out very well DTM. Good job! Sure you will run into a few snags here and there but that is all part of the game.
