While I was using RC1 I installed camera fx pro and it worked no problem. Even when using the camera shortcut on lockscreen it went straight into it. I havent tested out RC1.2 but if nothing has changed as far as gallery and included apps I dont see why it wouldnt work.
Does the video play longer then 3 secs. If so then it is progress

Really? lots of peeps reported video blackouts in most of my builds.

youtube app - plays videos with crapy grain and only plays within app, once you rotate the phone it reboots.

Very odd...idk what to think now
I'm back in RC1 (no data wipe, only cache and dalvik) and just watched a 3:30min video completely with no problem in the picture, and able to rotate without any hassle. The only thing i noticed is a bad gradient (not there grainy crap others have had, but gradient) connecting the time of the video to the pause button when you touch the video. It's as if the graphics being used are low quality. Other than that, I've had no problems whatsoever with video playback.
Also, i haven't tried RC1.1, so i can't confirm anything there. Only RC1 and RC1.2 but I'll try RC1.3 and let you know.
Edit: Flashed RC1.3 and am seeing the grain. Hmmph.
