Rom manager help

I rooted my phone with gingerbreak and I launched Tom manager and tried to reboot into recovery but the screen just stays at the LG logo... I took off the battery and tried to manually put into recovery by hold the down volume button, hold home button, and hold the power button... but no luck... any help or suggestions ? Thanks

When you went into ROM manager, did you click "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery"? And when you finished it said "ClockworkMod 3.X.X.X"? And then you clicked reboot into recovery?

Its says 3.2.0.1
