haha it is definitely an intimidating jump and I'm sort of learning the specifics on the fly... Such as what the heck a modem is vs a rom... Tricky stuff here

there is a lot to learn. most of what i know comes from screwing something up and not being able to afford a new phone. i hope to have something together in the next day that will help explain things a little better for the noobs. i would not have crapped my pants as much if something like that was put out before. in the mean time this forum is great. the folks here love to help others out. every problem i ran into as a noob someone else had already been there, and they were quick to pass on thier knowledge.
