Do I need to uninstall the apps that i have that are built in to this one before I restore data. I have these already.

Wifi Tether
Notifications area translucent
Battery percentages to battery icon
ES File Explorer
Gingerbread keyboard
ROM Manager in system
XDA App in data

If you're restoring apps that are already on your system, as long as they're in the same location with the same name they should just be overwritten.

I'm not sure if it's still a problem with Froyo, but in Eclair when people restored from backups that contained battery meter mods that had percentages, they got errors. I almost always manually restore my apps and settings so I'm not sure if this problem still exists.

I have been using this for a couple weeks now and will say its an incredibly stable ROM and I love it. Much, MUCH better than stock DK28 with great battery life and speed.

I must say this is my first "rom" and it is just flying thus far. Def smoother than the stock 2.2 I was running, which for some reason seemed to be having problems all of a sudden on me. I did have to add back the Sprint/Telenav app as that has always been my fave... but that took all but two seconds..

This is probably the best of the ROMs that I have tried out so far. Maybe Cyanogen will challenge this, but thats about it.

What is it in particular that you like about this ROM? And what others have you tried?

I had Nebula 1.0.5 installed....I didn't wipe anything off my phone but downloaded the new 1.0.6 rom and rebooted in clockwork mod and flashed the new rom. All my apps and data stayed on my phone...is this ok to flash it this way without doing a wipe..?

If everything works then you're good. From the change log it looks like there were only minor updates, so wiping may not be needed.

Are there any other tweaks that can be put into this rom for even better battery life?...by far this is the most stable and best rom.

I have just updated to the ext4 while at work and there is a nice snap to the phone now.. The instuctions make this almost idiot proof. Wish there was a way to backup and restore widget positions on the homescreens..Which has got to be the most annoying part of messing with my phone...

How do I get back the "Desk Clock" that I had in the .5 version? .6 has the regular old clock. I was kind of loving the desk clock app..

In answer to your question here...

Flash the old version ".5" back, then open the ".6" version using Root Explorer/ES File Explorer/Astro and goto the /system/app folder and delete the Clock.apk or ClockPackage.apk and save and then flash the ".6" version without wiping and that should give you ".5" clock.
