It's EV and that's 3G

Think of it as the cdma equivalent of 3g. I think it stands for evolution data or something crazy like that.

Nick7, you're the man! I flashed this ROM last night and I am very pleased with it. It is so much faster than stock on VM670. I have tried a few others but this one by far is very fast and snappy. OC 787/480 interactive.

I notice that transprancy has been added hacked into this rom. How was thia done? Could u mybe link me to the method you used to pull this off? Tnx for any info you could share!

-Boot animations go in /data/local
-Change Reborn ROM notification string in build.prop
-Themes for the Optimus S are not compatible
-Clear button can be edited in framework-res.apk (requires apk tool and a good text editor like notepad++)
-Notification dropdown background transparency is a one line edit in services.jar (requires smali.jar/baksmali.jar use) PM me for specifics

Does Swipe work? this one is important, I have come to like swipe, does this rom have it, and will it work?
Is there anything the Original rom can do, that this one can't, such as wifi tethering?

Everything from the stock ROM works. Swype works too.
