Why port to the Optimus S?
Quite simply, because I flipping can. And because it's always been a personal challenge to me, to get a version of Android running on the Optimus S that was NEVER designed to be run on such a device.

You can try...but don't report any issues. I will ignore your issues if it's not being flashed on an Optimus S.

I got your PM (same as everyone else) it just autoresponds to keep away the annoying "HAAAALP MEEEE!" PMs.

Now that I got something cool and totally awesome set up, if anyone wants to be a beta tester, all they need to do is PM me their email address (REAL email address) and preferred username (if different from their AndroidCentral username).

I will input the information into the new Team Hydro Atrium and you will be emailed instructions on accessing your Beta Tester account.

Drew said most likely it'll be ZVJ-based when the Radio for the ROM is ready since it's based on Gingerbread, and ZVJ is our latest Gingerbread release.

Which by the way could be tomorrow, next week or next year even. These Sense ROMs aren't easy to port. Or fun.

So, for now, it wouldn't matter which baseband we are on? I mean, if phone, text are working for ZVJ I would totally use it for beta testing, if they are not I can test on VD itself. Let me know. Will send a PM anyway
