I have a build of Froyo with SenseUI that I ported from the EVO that is working and very stable. I have been working on this a while, so I hope you enjoy it. There are still some things that do not work, but there is loads of other things that do work. This is in beta right now. Download and enjoy.

As always, I am not responsible for all the joy you will have flashing this ROM ... err ... I mean you messing up your phone flashing this ROM. Do the smart thing and make a nand backup. You waited this long, you can wait 5 more minutes.

Directions:
1. Download the ROM from the link above
2. Place it on your sd card
3. Reboot into recovery
4. Do a nandroid backup
5. Perform a full wipe
6. Select "install zip from sdcard"
7. Select the file and you're on your way to happiness

NOTE: The first boot takes a very long time. Just be patient, it will work.

Yeah if GPS and camera is down it's a no go for me right now. May flash it just to see the performance and roll it back. Great job will definitely keep an eye out for this one to go RC. Is gmail still on this one?

If you are still on 2.2, try Redskins.com for me

Flash lite is OK, but it won't play the videos. I can't wait to have this site work on my phone.

With 2.2 you get flash 10.1, full flash not flash lite. Maybe I read that wrong and you are saying you can't wait to get 2.2 so you have full flash.....either way if you are on 2.2 just get the 10.1 download and have at it.

i had flashed back to 2.1 and had flash lite, forgot to test one of my favorite websites, redskins.com

i was asking him to test to see how it worked with 10.1

i have since gone back to 2.2 and tested the site, it works! first phone I have ever had that worked on redskins.com!

oh, and BTW: This is the best Froyo ROM out! works amazingly well! i have over 100+ apps and only 1 didn't work.

Awesome Rom, they are on 1.7 with a 1.8 update that i havent been able to download.
This allows me to use the HTC widgets that i like and have froyo but has the same two major problems the CyanogenMod 6 has, Camera and wifi tether.
High of 38.8 MFLOPS in linpak whereas Cyanogen has a high of 38.3 or so for me.

I have the 1.8 update hosted from one of my sites. Why the Dev decided to use these hosting services that limit the number of downloads I don't know. Maybe he will change that in the future.

If you need to know how to install this please read the OPs first post. You must have 1.7 installed before you install the 1.8 update and there is no need to wipe on the update. (For the people that know whats going on).

No problem you can get it through the original links the Dev gives you but you have to go through hoops to get it. This just seems much easier. The 1.7 ROM is still uploading, got about 2 minutes left. Gotta hate slow upload speeds. It will be working soon though. I guess that's the down fail of having an active thread lol!

Do you have to rename the file to update.zip in order to go into recovery and try update from sd card?


NVM i figured it out, I can apply the update by choosing the zip file but under software information it still says 1.7 after the update. anyone know if this is correct?

I have noticed that there is no LED when the phone is charging but besides that this is working awesome!
