The rom is easy. Most will agree on myn. Kernel is a debate. I had good results with kings bfs 8 some use 9. Trial and error. See wat works best for you.

It's not a roaming symbol it's just a different icon for the signal bar.

Not sure if there's a complete list but roms that have been tested to work are kings bfs 8,9,10. Can't guarantee you'll have the same results as each phone is different.
