[ROM] Uncommon Sense (v1.1) Custom Rosie Remaps have arrived!

logo.png
Description:
The goal of Uncommon Sense is to provide a tastefully customized rom with an oem feel. The ROM's backbone is based off of the official froyo v3.21.605.1 build for the incredible. Packed with one-of-a-kind modifications and user experience enhancements, this may very well be the most unique sense rom for the incredible. I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making it.

!!! FULL WIPE REQUIRED !!!
Download v1.1
!!! FLASH-OVER IF COMING FROM UNCOMMON 1.0x + !!!

Change log attached to this thread.

Music (yes the icon looks like a boob. i'm not a designer. feel free to submit an alternate icon to me.)

▪ If you would like to see something added to the lineup, post up either the activity and package name or a logcat of you launching the application.

It is normal for installation to fail when updating 'App Folders' as well as 'Adobe Flash Player'. Both of these apps have been modified and resigned INTENTIONALLY to prevent market updates. Turn off auto-update for these applications. I will update them in the rom when the updates have been tested and are ready to go.

10-01-10 - Uncommon Sense v1.0 has just hit 6000 downloads! Unbelievable!
09-27-10 - Uncommon Sense has just made the front page of Android Central! Another XDA project well done. Check it out here!

Uploaded to my SD tried to launch from astro...doing something wrong? Having trouble installing.
You need to be rooted and it must be installed thru recovery like other ROMs. Search around for a beginner's guide.

This looks like a beautiful ROM. I'll probably wait until the weekend to give it a try, but its specs are stellar. If it's stable and everything works (wifi, LED notifications, etc) we could have a real winner.

Been with this one since beta v0.6, which at that point it was excellent. By far my favorite ROM, and highly recommended to all.

So far it seems like a nice blend of Sense and Stock. I like the font choices and overall look. Kudos!

Does it improve the bluetooth stack? If so, I'm gonna do my first root!

Oh, and besides AppBrain to reinstall my apps, is there anything I can do to reload my tweaked settings?

Do I need to reinstall apps that are on the SD card?

I won't know about the bluetooth stack until tomorrow, but I have had good experience with bluetooth in most Froyo ROMs.

You'll need to restore all of your apps that are not included with the ROM. The easiest way to do this is with Titanium Backup. Download it from the Market and create a backup before trying out ROMs.

As for the tweaked settings...Titanium can handle some of them, but you are probably better of resetting them yourself. Other's may have more experience in that regard.

As for the tweaked settings, the safest thing to do would be to do it yourself, though. Anytime you move ROMs, its always best to do anything that involves the system to do it your self.

just loaded it up, I just rooted a few days ago and this is my first rom. So far its awesome! very nice..although with how easy it was to do I may begin developing this sickness i have read of on here of constantly switching roms and stuff..i love android!

flashing this now..... this will be my second. hoping for better results this time.:D

I like everything except the lack of the HTC Music app... Much better than the vanilla one, imho...

can you edit what is in the dock? i prefer to have my sms and gmail in my dock

Just flashed this on to my incredible but the hulu app says my phone is not compatible?!?!?! any one try this app yet? I do absolutely love the folders options !!!
