I tried my Skull Candy FMJs: the person on the other end can hear me, but as soon as the phone initiates I lose all audio on my end.

Edit: I should note that these have been known to behave strange or differently with certain devices, however they've always been nice to android related devices :D

Edit 2: No one else has posted yet so I'm just going to edit this instead of flooding the thread ;)

You're missing a key in the keymapping, 216, in stock in would be mapped to voice, and while I'm not proposing you do this I felt it necessary to point out that currently the voice key is a dead key. It's mapped to nothing and does nothing on the phone with this rom, I'm just recommending you give it a function. Who knows maybe someone else has an idea as to what

this is the 3rd cm7 based rom that i've used on my optimus and i'm very impressed. i dont have to pair my stereo bluetooth after rebooting anymore, the camera zoom mostly works and the system in general is way smoother. and lol i can recieve mms again thanks bro.

now please put the theme chooser on your next build.

I second the theme Chooser :)

Been waiting for official cm7 support on this phone and I'm so happy to have this!

Two things I've noticed (or would like to see fixed :)) are:

Any cyanogenmod that I've ran wont properly shut down the phone. Power off option actually just resets the phone as a reboot...

Earbuds with a microphone working

Strange about the power button. When I hold the power button down I get options for silent mode, airplane mode, reboot, and power off. They all work fine for me. If my phone is plugged in and I choose power off it will reboot, but other than that it shuts down. Anyone else having this issue?

Audio problems are being worked on. This includes wired and wireless headsets, phone ringing throw the speaker instead of earpiece, etc.

What is the best way to bypass outlook exchange security polices on CM7 based roms. Is there a new Email.apk I can install? Thanks for any help, I,m new to all of this.

I'll look into the keymapping. I used the keymapping file that zefie had. I will review it and see what I can do with it. I know that I spoke with aosp about this before and we were trying to get it mapped back to being a voice key, but were having issues with it. I'll let you know.

Sorry I cannot be of any help to you on this. I don't use exchange and never have on my phone.

Re: [ROM][WIP] Unofficial CM7 (Gingerbread) - v0.2 - 7/4/2011

I will hopefully have a new build by the end of the daythat fixes the ringtone through the earpiece bug. Seems there was some code missing from the AudioPolicyManager file. Building now and will test it after a bit to make sure I didn't break anything else.

Been using this for the past two days now, and I'm very impressed. You're doing a great job.

Bug/Observation/Suggestions:

1) I would appreciate theme chooser, restoring it through titanium doesn't work.

2) As far as a launcher goes, I like ADW, but I think that the stock launcher would be best. ADW just feels like bloatware at this point.

3) If you go into keyboard settings and check the box for more than one input at a time, it doesn't work. Hitting the back key after each input method and going back to select a second or third input method does work though. This is a really minor issue with a very easy workaround, but I just thought I'd let you know. I had this problem on Zefie's rom too.

4) There seems to be a limit on how many apps I can install at one time. I hit a point where everything will stop installing from market or apk, and will refuse to restore from TiBu. I found that cap to be around 160. Uninstalling a handful of apps will let me start installing things again, but only up to that ~160 cap. Not a huge problem, I uninstalled some things, but It doesn't seem to be linked to size, since I can uninstall a cache cleaner and install Peggle in it's place. I also have about 80 mb left on internal and 12 gb left on SD. I had this problem with aosp's rom, but the cap was around 130. Scott Pilgrim's stopped me around 180. seems to be a universal cm7 on optimus issue.

All in all, great rom. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
