Ever since i updated my mac to Lion, I'm having a problem. When i download a rom from XDA or here, instead of downloading as a zip to flash, it downloads as a folder. So i figure, fine, i'll just compress it as a zip. But when i flash it, it gets aborted. Any ideas?

ROMs must be zipped with no compression (store only) or they can't be flashed.

To stop your zip files from being automatically unzipped upon download, while in Safari go to the toolbar: Safari>Preferences...>General (in the toolbar at the top of the window)>uncheck the box labeled 'Open "safe" files after downloading'. Viola, no more auto-unzip :)

If you want to correctly zip up any ROMs you've already downloaded, try sArchiver. It's a paid app, but should be free to try. It allows zipping with no compression.
