Root and Knox question.

Used ghettoroot to root an 1605 Verizon. During the root process, it said Knox was deleted. How do I know this to be true? How can I check it out?

After rooting, apps can no longer be downloaded from appsapk.com or Amazon.
Is this because Knox is or isn't installed?

Any help appreciated.
