1. Can I use Gingerbreak to root this device? If so, how, because I tried it and it just tries and tries...

2. Is there, and if there is can I revert to using sdlite, a stock 2.2.2 ROM/SBF leaked yet?

anyone else using this ROM "version"?

Thanks

New to Android and the forums. From what I have already read, Gingerbreak wont work on 2.3.3. You have to get your phone back to 2.2. Havent tried but people are saying its possible. And im sure there will be other options in the future if you wait.

I have heard you use the .sbf for froyo and that works even if your on GB, but I am not sure...

Yes this is the way. I got my dx2 last Tuesday and updated right away to gb. Than come to find out to root I had to flash back to froyo, which was installed on purchase. Tried gingerbread while on gb and nothing. As soon as I flashed back to froyo, golden!!! New to android from bb and flashing back was not too difficult w a little research.
