my galaxy s3 I9300 xxella running jellybean 4.1.2 has superuser but not rooted. does it mean it was once rooted. if yes, hw do I reroot? if no, hw do I root? thank you

Superuser means you're rooted. Do you mean you have no root access? Did you check with an app like Root Checker?
