There are plenty of roms over on the xda sprint original development thread. Quite a few roms still have most of the stock elements still installed.

Yeah there's alot of very stable 4.2.2 Roma that are sense builds that are so enjoyable I use trickdroid,sentinal and android revolution so far and no problems with any if them and I'm tmobile

Rooting has nothing to do with things like BlinkFeed and Zoe, so in short yes, you'll still have them. There are Sense-Based ROMs (Android Development on XDA) and there are AOSP-based ROMs (Original Android Development). Yes, there is a stock 4.2.2 HTC ROM right here, but only if your device is international and unbranded so that you can install .401 ROMs.
