Root Razr Maxx (most recent Root & Unroot)

I'm looking to root my Droid Razr Maxx, but I would also l ike to Unroot if need be.
I've come acroos quite a few Root methods searching the internet.
Some claim that if you use a certain Root app, you will need to use an Unroot app by that same developer.
A few had Root app links available, but a few Unroot links would be dead.

My Maxx is running Android version 2.3.6 System version 6.12.173

I'd go with the links from the unlocker.com since those two are made to work together. I have used the last link to root my phone, used the second link to unroot even tho it said not to if you didn't use link number one and everything went fine. That's not to say everyone's will go so well. Also to mention the phone I unrooted went back to Verizon for a claims so not sure if there was any problems with it afterwards.
