root the T Mobile LG G2X 2.3.3 on Linux?

Anyone know of a way to root the T Mobile LG G2X 2.3.3 on Linux? I Googled it and stumbled upon a nice tut but psneuter wouldn't work. I'm guessing the exploit failed and could not gain the initial priv esc to make the rest of the program to work. I'm stuck. BTW, I do not have access to a Windows Machine.
