If I root can I still receive ota updates or not?

Correct. So if you don't want to redo all that, just wait til the rooted flashable version of the update is released (usually same day) and flash it through recovery

Depends on the method of root. If you replace the recovery, you may not be able to get OTA updates. If you flashed a rooted boot.img, then yes, you can receive updates and just need to re-root.

Correct, but rooted and with SU already installed

It won't take long for an ota to be made into a flashable version for those of us that are rooted, so I wouldn't really worry about it
