Root using windows 8.1

can you root using a laptop with windows 8.1? All the drivers and what not needed install fine?

I see most with win 7. Don't remember seeing people root the G3 with win 8.1

I've installed the LG drivers on Win 8.1 without any problem. But the root method I used (Stump Root) didn't require a PC at all.

I'm guessing you mean ADB? Yup, should work fine on W8.1

I think once upon a time I had to go into some deep settings to get the ADB drivers to work on Windows 8.1, but since then I haven't had an issue. I had to Google how to enable them. It involved changing a setting, and then the computer rebooted like into something like safe mode to complete the change. Anyone else have to ever do that?
