Root Verizon S6 Help

[Android Central Question]

There are so many tutorials on the web about doing this but I am unsure what the best one to follow. I have a Verizon Samsung S6. I absolutely loved this phone until 7.0 came out. I am sick of these OTA updates. It's so slow now and my battery life stinks.

I would like to go back to the Marshmallow and root this thing so it won't update anymore. What is the best guide to use for a noob? I have flashed previous knows with ODIN so I know a little.

I am currently at G920VVRS4DQK1 build and knox 2.7.1
Not sure what else I need to provide, let me know if you need any more information.
