Trying to follow the guide to root my phone found here:

Trying to follow the steps but can't get past the first step.

Downloaded Terminal Emulator > run it and type su and get permission denied. I tried my wifes phone with the same result. I have never rooted a phone before so.

I'm sorry but I don't see where it says anything about Downloading Terminal Emulator in step 1.

Your first step is to visit the Revolutionary.io site. That gives you the directions to s-off
