Motorola was one of the first to start with that and it was bypassed but Knox seems to be the same as what some of the Motorola devices had. Motorola had a locked bootloader and any attempt to break it will cause the phone to pretty do the same as Knox so I hope there's a way around it.
But then again, I don't use custom ROMs on my tablet. I guess I will have to wait to see what happens. I was hoping to pick up the new 10.1 this weekend since I just got some gift cards but I'll have to wait.
Right now, the only other tablet is going to be what ASUS brings to the table or wait for the new Nexus 10 and hoping it has 64GB or more memory.
