AC Question

Hi,

I rooted my HTC One today, followed all the instructions etc.
On the bootloader it even says ***TAMPERED*** and ***UNLOCKED***.
I've downloaded to root checkers from the play store, one says it's rooted the other says it's not.

I've tried use the app "Wireless Tether", but it gives errors indicating its not rooted.
And I've also download uninstall master, to uninstall the system apps but it says the phone needs to be root.

Please help, what's wrong with it?

Open SU, go into settings and update binaries. That should give you root.

Welcome to the forums.
Can you link what root method you used?
Thanks, and thanks for the reply - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRkAHw_GmIs&feature=youtu.be

Thanks for the reply - I updated the supersu in the playstore it now says "There is no supersu binary installed, and supersu cannot install it. This is a problem!" plus "if you just upgraded to android 4.3, you need to manually re-root - consult the relevent forums for your device"
And after I press okay, the application closes, and there's not much else I could do.

Before beginning the steps to rooting, my device was fully updated to kitkat.

That is strange, because QBKing77 does good work with root. This may be a dumb question, but you do have the M7, correct? The HTC One that came out last year?

SOLVED!
Found the problem: the Supersu QBKing77 provided must of been out of date or something,
SuperSU Download - downloaded the latest version and restarted the process and it works fine.

@Golfdriver97 - thanks for your HELP cousin! :)
