These don't bother me. What used to bother me were the, "It's been a fun ride but its time for me to move on" threads back on crackberry, like their decision to buy a non RIM phone necessitated some sort of explanation and their impending departure requires an announcement. Get over yourself and just LEAVE already. Nobody cares. You're just a narcissist and you will not be missed; this is the internet for crying out loud. It's not like we're going to retire your avatar to the rafters or something.
But no...rooting threads don't really bother me. People who finally do it feel relieved, exhilirated, and flat out thrilled things didn't go horribly wrong.

No but I'm sick of seeing people complain about people "gloating" about receiving the Froyo update from Verizon and not getting the update.zip for everyone else. I get tired of seeing everyone reporting they haven't gotten the update yet. I'm tired of seeing people start drama in a forum over a cell phone update. All of this over a 2 DAY OLD update. EVERYONE will have it by Thursday regardless if you RUU, ROM, OTA or anything else. Some people are just so impatient. The tension and frustration over a software update is mind boggling......
I'm impatient so I rooted a long time ago, getting Froyo early was a bonus as I rooted to get Wireless tethering but it spawned into so much more. I understand your stance on not wanting to hear about his relief from realizing how nice rooting his phone was for him, not to mention it's in the wrong forum should be in Hacks/ROM section. But dang dude, the response you have given was not warranted, not needed, or justified.
I sense a disturbance in the force..........I have a feeling the door will be shut soon enough. Been fun.
