Android Central Question

i did root my phone and when i was installing custom rom on my s8 it said data could not mount so i did something and it corrupted my storage and i had to go back on stock firmware again oreo now i want to ask can i root again right now its been only 3 days can i root again since in oreo u dont get oem unlock unless u complete ur 7 days time and my s health and samsung pass is also not working will it work after rooting again my phone was rooted perfectly but while installing rom i messed up

1. You root the ROM, not the hardware, so rooting, then flashing a new ROM is wasting the time it took to root. If the new ROM isn';t rooted, you'll have to root again.

2. Unless the ROM you flashed was an S9 ROM modified to run on an S8, it won't.

As for rooting again, the "unlock after 7 days" thing is to SIM-unlock the phone - to be able use another carier's SIM in the phone - it has nothing to do with rooting. You can root any ROM you have a rooting method for, at any time.
