Rooted NC won't power down?

I'm reasonably happily running a rooted 1.0.1 NC. Today (as in, right now) it started having a problem though.

It won't power off.

When I hold the power button down, it presents the dialogue box to cancel or confirm the power down, but it won't respond to either a cancel or confirm. After a few moments of not getting a response from me (even though I'm giving one), it just goes back to the home screen.

Is there some other way to reboot / power down the NC?

Run rom manager and try to boot into recovery then exit and it should boot normal.

Well, thankfully (despite my having tried it several times before I ever posted), the device finally responded to my input. Not sure what was going on, but it seems to have passed.

Good I was gonna recommend alt + F4 next.
