I rooted my gs2 att with Odin and it went fine and completed. But now when I turn on wifi it searches and doesn't locate any networks and then shuts wifi off. Is this typical?

Thanks.

just went through this myself, except i lost data connectivity, not wifi. i was already rooted. did a factory reset and everything worked right away, and Superuser app is still there. all good. :)

just rooted and lost my wifi, too. backed up all apps and settings using TB and did a factory reset but still no wifi.
sux.
guess i'll be installed UnNamed now to see if that fixes it.

backed up everything, installed UnNamed ROM. everything works out of the box. awesome.

Do I take out the SIM card and the external sd card to perform this function as in the rooting process?

Fuggit I'm goin' for it!

Nope...didn't work. I did take out SIM and External SD card. Any suggestions on what to do about this wi-fi issue?
