Rooted phone application installation

I just rooted my phone checked with terminal emulator to double check even though super user appears when installing apps. I am having trouble running titanium backup. I went to the android market and dled the one labeled for rooted phones but when i run it, it says my phone is not rooted.

Ive tried rebooting my phone a few times and it still doesnt work... any suggestions on how to fix?

nevermind i figured out that busybox needed to be updated.
