rooted phone....cant log into google when i go to sync account...any ideas?

i cant log into google when i click sync in the settings...it keeps saying cant find a connection but im connected via wifi so i have one...what i can do....i dont have service right now and i need google voice lol i cant log in there because agian...the sync account thing isnt working.....would replacing my system apps work....
