Rooted, partially debloated, and loving it! Has anyone come up with a list of apps that are safe to remove? I used superoneclick to root, titanium backup to backup and remove apps.
I have already stripped off all the verizon bloat, bing, and other crapware but want to debloat deeper. FYI, removing the Nuance Voice Control app will give an infinate force close loop. I thought I hosed my phone but after sweating a little, a battery pull did the trick and the phone is running fine without it. I am a little nervous to remove the g'zone apps because they are somewhat tied in to the hardware and I am not too sure how the phone will behave without them. Besides, they are kind of cool, although will go mostly unused.
Any devs out there want to dabble in a custom rom? Able and willing to donate! :-$ I see that Casio released the GPL download of phone on their website (including the kernel). Can anyone do anything with this?
