Rooted w/ Codename - volume button lock?

Decided to root my phone today, which was effortless thanks to the guide on this forum! I went with Codename based on reading what people were saying, seems to have a good rep. I really like it, brings back a lot of the features I had with CM. I'll be keeping an eye out for the official CM release though.

Just a question... Is there a way to make it so that the volume buttons do NOT change the ringtone/notification volume when on the homescreen? I usually keep my phone on vibrate, and it's really easy to accidentally tap the volume up button and put the phone into Loud mode without realizing. I'd prefer just to have them disabled.

While the phone is awake? No... you can't disable the volume buttons while the phone is on the homescreen, etc...

The only options for the volume buttons is to have them wake/power the phone on while the screen is off.

Hm, then maybe there's an app that does it or something. I'm pretty sure my Incredible's volume button was disabled, must have been a CM thing or something.
