Hi! I tried to root my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 with motochopper and while it was rooting when it came to the superuser.apk it said Failure already exists then cleaned up and finished. I am still not rooted and not sure why. Any suggestions? I would love to be rooted. Thanks in advance!

You probably have the latest firmware, which is MF3. It broke all known exploits. You can check by going to settings/more/about device/build number and your last 3 letters will either be MDB, MDL, or MF3. If it's MF3, you can still root using a new method, but there is no custom recovery/custom ROMs for now. There's also no way to unroot as far as I know.

Thanks jeffreii! You were correct. I do have the latest firmware ending in MF3. What is the new method that you are talking about? Thanks for your help!

Jeffreii is correct. Just remember, as he said with the MF3 rooting method, there is no custom recovery. Which means no ROM's. If you just want root apps, then your good to go! It's not that hard as long as you follow the instructions carefully.
