I've been looking to see if this has been done yet for the Verizon Galaxy S4. Any one tried and how did you go about it?

None yet that I have seen. Do you just want root or root so you can change to a new ROM?

The only reason I want to is so I can use SDFix and regain access to my SD card and use my wireless sync app!

I can access my SD card just fine. Probably your app needs updated.

Possibly, but it's not clear. I want to wirelessly sync from my desktop to a folder I created on my SD card, not a folder dictated by Google. If there's an easy way to do that with the new restrictions, I'm all for it.

Right now just to root it to remove the bloatware. Eventually I'll flash a ROM.
