Rooting HTC One Help With TWRP (UK O2)

Hi All,

I am new to Android devices and recently switched from my iPhone and so far so good but i am a little stuck with Rooting at the moment. I get all the way through to the part where you fastboot the twrp.img file through CMD. My CMD says that the two things it does are OKAY but when i enter recovery mode it boots back in to the stock android part and not the TWRP menu. I do have the words unlocked across the top of the bootloader screen in pink but a video i watched shows the user having something else in Grey across the top, something like <<<<TWRPed>>>> which i don't have atm.

I think i am quite close to doing it but can't get over this last hurdle.

Go to the below link. I used that tool to load custom custom recovery then to sideload superuser. Any help you need will be there.

Hi and thanks for the reply, i have tried using the tool but i get the same issue, i am also unable to post in the forum as i am new their. I downloaded the version in question (HTC One (M7) AIO Kit by Hasoon2000 v1.2) i can get through the bits on the left hand side and it still says unlocked but when i have turned on Debugging mode and click Flash Recovery (TWRP) nothing happens. When i try this when the phone is in the bootloader menu i says its completed the in the command prompt but if i click recovery option on the phone after its succeeded it goes back to the stock android.

Any help appreciated.

Well its been a long weekend but after rooting my device i noticed alot of stock apps dissapear and that do to theming i would need to deodex my device. I'll be honest after all the work i am looking to return my device to stock. I have removed the bootloader unlock but it still says tampered at the top of the screen. I read i need to get the RUU.exe file for my device run that and i am back to normal.

My Carrier is O2 and all of the RUU's are for other carriers which one do i use for a UK version on O2 if i can only see orange etc..

guys i rooted my One when it was on 4.1.2 firmware. I bought it from O2. running software number is 1.29.206.16. the kernel version atm is 3.4.10-gf97ab24. I installed the TWRP. I want to unroot the phone and go back to stock ROM and update to 4.2.2. Is there any RUU or any way to go back to stock O2 ROM so I can do the official update cz I am kinda freaking out over here ... help would be nice thanks in advance
