I received a replacement THUNDERBOLT due to my a cracked screen. my first THUNDERBOLT was rooted and had no problem with roms and kernels. now i tried to root my replacement and when i connect it to my laptop it dont show up as disk drive even though i switche it in the menu/settings on the phone itself. i boot into recovery and screen goes black with phone and yellow esclamation mark. is there a setting i have to change? am i missing sumthing?

also i cant even add music for the same issue that it dont show up in the disk drive..

My first thing I would say to do is let your phone start up normal and run the SOFTWARE update to make sure that it is running the latest. Get your phone working first. Make sure the latest drivers are installed.

Also, try a different USB port. I know that sounds dumb and you probably have it plugged into the one you use all the time....but who know, maybe that port and the new phone don't like each other. That is the way it is on my work PC....one port doesn't work right.
