Rooting problem

Hi,

So I ran Unrevoked and it failed saying "root failed - Is your firmware too new?"

Here are my specs and I am hoping someone can help.

Android Version
2.2

Baseband version
2.15.00.07.28

Kernel version
2.6.32.17-g9a2fc16

If anyone can help or if you need more info please let me know.

Is it possible you ran an old version of unrevoked?

re-download unrevoked.

Also make sure you have the proper hboot and drivers installed - If you have HTC Sync installed you need to uninstall it first, then install the Unrevoked Drivers.

Re-downloaded again (3rd time), and this time it worked. I also uninstalled the app that kept crashing in the middle of the root.
