Just wondering, can I root an a200 tablet with a iMac? All i seem to be able to find is rooting via a pc? Any answer will do even if it's obvious.

No, rooting usually requires a command prompt to run linux code, since android OS is a linux kernel based system. So you probably cant root it with a mac
