Hey guys,
Have researched rooting the Note 4 and I'm happy to go ahead. Can anyone recommend the easiest way to do it? I've seen numerous ways of doing it and wanted to know which one is the best way? Also let me know any problems you guys have faced when rooting the Note 4 x

It would help to know your service provider. Although I have not rooted my Note 4, I hear Verizon doesn't have a way to root that will stay past a reboot.

If you are on 5.1.1 then the only way to root your NOTE 4 is to also flash another Kernel - See link here - How to Root Galaxy Note 4/Note Edge on Android 5.1.1! | GalaxyNote4Root.com

This is probably the easiest and only way at the moment.

Hello,
I tried to root my Note 4 sm-n910c using chain fire. I forgot to enable debugging but when i went through the steps it said success. Now my phone is stuck on bootloop. Please help someone, I'm freaking out now!! Im in Northern Ireland with an unlocked note 4.

I wish I could get someone experienced to root my Note 4. I'm terrified to do so because so many people brick their phones. A few days ago, it took me all of half an hour to jailbreak my iPad with no issues but this seems way more complicated with more steps. All I want is a Note 5 rom for those themes!

I've managed to get my note 4 working again. NEVER trying to root it again!!!! x

Are you sure Chainfire's method is the one to use. I haven't checked on XDA, but that method has been out for quite awhile and wasn't aware it was good for the Note 4's that are able to root. I used that on my 10.1 Note (2012) with no problems, but I would make sure you're using the right method for your version. You can usually get out of a boot loop with holding down the power button for 10 seconds or more.

I pretty much have given up on Root for this phone. If it hasn't happened yet, doubt it will.

Thanks for getting back to me. Found a 5.1.1 stock firmware for my note 4 and now it's working again THANKFULLY x
