Okay, so I am brand new to the Android market, I have had an iphone since they have come out. I love the HTC One and all the customizations that come along with it. The downfall that I see is the memory space and the battery life because I also love to run apps. As I understand it, if I root my phone then I will be able to save my information and change where the apps are located on the phone and send them to the sd card which I guess is kind of like extended memory (if I understand this properly). First off can someone tell me if I am understanding this correctly. Secondly, I really want to root my phone but I am afraid and don't know how to do it. Everything I read says it is fairly safe to do and I understand that it can void the warranty but if it gets me more space and better battery life I am game. As it stands right now, the phone is brand new (not even a month old) and my battery cannot last me 24 hours. With my iphone, I never had this issue, it would easily last me 24 hours. Am I being unreasonable in my expectation of the Android? I am really not sure. Any comments or instruction is welcomed. Thank you -
