I have been using Sound Assistant and Routines in Good Lock to turn my phone on vibrate for a certain amount of hours and then turn back to sound . When I first set both of them up they worked fine, but now I'm having an issue where neither one will turn the sound back on. It just stays on vibrate.bis anyone else having this issue ? If so have you figured out what the problem is or is there another app that I can use with this capability?

I switched back to Routines and set it up to go to vibrate for 5 minutes and then go back to sound. it worked . Hopefully it will still work tomorrow. it's like both apps are taking turns not working or working.lol

At least you got it going:))

So I turned the routines on and it didn't put my phone on vibrate like I set it up to do. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Interesting, I'm having a similar issue where routines is not changing my phone to vibrate or back anymore either. Worked fine the first day or two, then stopped working.

So I figured out why Routines wasn't working for me. When I set up the action instead of going to the sound mode I kept putting the action on vibration. I had to go to sound mode and then click vibrate within there.

So once you put whatever date for your condition you'll go down and click add action. Scroll down to sound mode.that will take you back to the set up screen where you will see 4 lines in front of sound . Click that and the next screen will be where you pick sound, vibrate , or mute. I added some pics in case I didn't explain it well. Your routines look a bit different than mine, but maybe you have more "sound" choices because you choose something other than do not disturb. I chose do not disturb for all of mine, because my smartwatch will still for favorites /exceptions, even in do not disturb our maybe because I am running Oreo.

ETA, well, I tried to post two pics, using the AC app, but once again, it only accepted the second pic. I had to open a browser with this thread, in order to edit the attachments to my post and add the one that wouldn't stick, using the AC app. (eyes looking up)

I didn't even think about using dnd.i swear I've been trying to figure this mess out for weeks. The phone was going to vibration from the hours I needed it to just fine. It just wouldn't switch back to sound once my time frame ended. I thought my phone was broken, but it was just me broken. Lol

I get it. It is kind of a convoluted (not straight forward) way of making a rule. It took my a lot of looking around to figure it out. I was really surprised to see the four blanks after SOUND on your role, that's why I went and looked at mine. I only posted the screenshots for reference, in order to highlight the differences, not to suggest you were doing it wrong. If you want vibrate you should be able to get vibrate! 😊
