I think if they start exploding then a recall is in order. If they stay split then take one to an Apple Store or your carrier store for a replacement.

It's going to depend on how bad it gets. If they just keep swelling I think Apple will just replace them under warranty.

I think it really just depends on how big it gets. My guess is that it won't get that big. Who knows though.

Wow, that's crazy! Let's see what happens with this. Every platform has had to deal with issues like this... But it'll be interesting to see Apple sort this one out.

Apple has defiantly had recalls on batteries before but not on phones. YET.

There have been a few instances in the past where MacBook batteries were recalled because they could explode and catch fire.

Wow, I didn't know about the MacBooks! I guess we'll wait and see what happens with the phones...
