Rumored launch date and SKU

Question?

So we don't know when it is coming out? Correct

So we don't know how much it will be? Correct

No one has even mentioned that fact that it is labeled as a"4G" device.

You know what that means? Yes I do.

Pay your normal Data charge $15, $25, $30, now add a 4G charge of $10-$15.

When Sprint came out with the EVO the 4G sounded great, but no one knew what the additional cost for 4G was.

I am very excited for the phone, but I was also excited for my Captivate, which without the help of the Android Community, would have been gone a long time ago.

I will wait on this one and see how it turns out. I do expect more out of Moto but we will see.

So does anyone know if there will be a 4G cost?

isn't this the same pic that the other guy posted yesterday? the warehouse i think is the same as the pic he provided.
Edit*: Sorry its not just looked at large version. If true their marketing would make no sense. If you start a campaign right now and people look for the phone and find out its not available now or very soon, they will move on. SO why would you waste money on advertising with the product not being available close to the campaign, makes no sense(from an advertising point of view).

I agree 100% here. the window for people with an object of say desire for lack of a better word is short the buzz on this phone is now if they wait till march 1st it will be a waste

Wow you yourself just answered yourself wrong.

Yes its labeled 4G but it isnt 4G. Its HSPA+ they are doing the same thing tmobile is doing. They, are calling it 4G when its not. No price hike. The price plans are 15, 25 only then it goes up to 45 with tethering.

According to Telecommunication Standardization Sector, who is EXPONENTIALLY more qualified to state whether the network is 4G or not, HSPA+ is in fact 4G. Thanks for playing.

HSPA+ Now ?Officially? 4G According to ITU | TmoNews - Unofficial T-Mobile Blog - News, Videos, Articles and more

Did you read the Article ? no where does it say that HSPA+ is 4G. but it could be considered 4g. The reason for that is that 4G itself is undefined. Tmobile is doing this to market against Verizons LTE deployment and Sprints Winmax. thank you for playing. Everyone is claiming 4G now. The real improvement will be when LTE is really released on carriers that we will see areal improvement.

Yes, I read it......

"the ITU has recognized that HSPA+ will be considered a 4G network amongst its LTE and Wimax peers"

Fourth Generation (4G) notates a significant improvement from the previous technology. currently, LTE is only marginally faster than HSPA+ on ATT, and in many cases slower than TMOs. Granted, LTE will make significant strides in technology in the next couple of years, but at this time, its all 4G bro.

Thanks for playing?

Since HSPA+ is in essence using the existing network, and AT&T is investing in LTE for the future, a fair educated guess is that they will not charge for this version of 4G, but will charge for LTE 4G when it goes live, because they have to pay back the cost of building that network out.

I like the logic in that. However, I cannot get past corporate greed to rule it out completely.

Actually, it is the same info. But he got shouted down by some haters (we know who you are) and deleted the post. But this came from a second source.

By the way: Next time someone posts news like that, hit the ol' "Tip" button and let us know, m'kay?
