Rumors about the Pixel 6a now floating around.

Rumor central IE Phone Arena has an article out today about a possible Pixel 5 sized Pixel 6a with the Tensor chip in it!!! Really nothing definite yet, but one can hope. Oh please make it so!

Notebookcheck.net is reporting that the 6a will NOT have the Tensor chip, but rather the Snapdragon 778G, which means no 5 years of security updates. 3 years of updates just like all the other non-tensor pixels.

I manage nine with a popsocket glued to the back. It really works and I find my p6 Pro perfect for me.

I have the Pixel 6 ... the PopSockets really hurt my arthritic fingers, so I use the Spigen Ring, which also sticks onto the back of your case. The added benefit of the Ring is that you can also carry your phone with a finger through the Ring, while you're carry something else with the same hand (cup of coffee, for instance).

Could you show us a picture of the ring you are using? Thank you!

Okay Morty ... I've taken pictures of it, but I have no idea how to upload the pictures! I managed to find the forums on the app, then this discussion ... I usually use my computer to read and reply to the forums, and I've read that you have to use the app to post pictures.

Three years of OS updates are not bad. Look at moto that sometimes doesn't even give one year.

I would be more interested to see if the bugs follow over from the 6 and 6 Pro and could those bugs be due to the Tensor and the S5123 Exynos modem?

You can use the Android Central Forums App, which is more reliable. Don't worry about it if you don't have the time! The ring sounds cool, is all! :)

That I have not come across. I come across these, I don't go looking for them. I have no desire for Pixel 6 even if it has a little letter attached.

I am wondering this too!

Me too, I think it may make a nice surprise phone for my wife. I was planning on picking her up a Pixel 6... but I'm thinking maybe the 6a will have some of the bugs worked out over the regular 6. She needs something ultra reliable for her work.
